The president of the Avery Dennison Foundation in Glendale, California, Alicia Procello Maddox oversees corporate social responsibility for Avery Dennison, a Fortune 500 company that manufactures and sells packaging and labeling products on a global scale. Before accepting her current position in 2009, Alicia Procello Maddox served five years with Nike – two years as a senior program manager at Nike’s US Community Affairs department in Beaverton, Oregon, and three years as a corporate responsibility manager at Nike’s GBU West offices in Culver City, California.
Ms. Procello Maddox formerly served tenures as a program officer/director with the California Wellness Foundation in Woodland Hills, a community-based public health liaison with the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, and a health educator with Planned Parenthood in Los Angeles. She also holds active membership in multiple professional organizations including Public Health Advocates and the Council on Foundations.
